The role will report directly into the new ambitious and highly engaging Financial controller, where you you be the right hand man/ lady and play a key role in moving the finance function and business forward!

Description

This is a hands on Senior management accountant role and will include all the normal duties you would expect of a role of this nature, however there is also the opportunity to stretch you development within a truly great business:-

* Production of Monthly Management accounts

*Providing senior stakeholders with business critical information packs

* Managing costings and provide costing analysis

*Business partnering with the wider team to improve business performance

*Responsibility for the line management of the Assistant Accountant, Purchase Ledger clerk & Credit controller.

*Budgeting and forecasting

*Act as the link between the sales team and the finance function

*Responsibility for collation of information for annual statutory audit

and

*Co-ordination of accounting systems based projects, software instalments & month end procedures

Profile

The successful candidate will be:-

* Fully ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified

* Be looking for a hands on commercial role

* Have 2 years experience in a similar role (especially the key responsibilities listed)

* Be a great communicator

* Have a strong knowledge/experience of using excel

* Have experience of producing accounts to review stage

* be highly engaging and have the ability to inspire a team
