Exciting Prudential Regulation Assistant Manager Opportunity, based in the City of London


A leading advisory and accountancy firm is seeking a Prudential Regulation Assistant Manager to join their Prudential Regulatory team in the City of London

The Institution
You will be a part of the management team responsible for growing the business and carrying out a variety of prudential regulatory consulting and assurance engagements across Financial Services, including banks, investment managers, capital markets and insurers.


The Role
You will be responsible for the review of ICAAPs, ILAAPs and RRPs for a variety of firms and provide support to start up banks (identify and implement prudential regulation required), including the development of their regulatory business plan. You will also be leading reviews of risk management frameworks alongside providing tailored recommendations to clients. The role will require you to lead the prudential skilled person reviews on Pillar 1, liquidity, credit, market and operational risk as well as leading the regulatory reporting reviews with a focus on FINREP and COREP. Providing assurance over regulatory change programmes (including governance and oversight, delivery against the plan, and robustness of the solution) as well as the escalation of delivery risks as they emerge will be key responsibilities too.


You
You will have needed to have demonstrated experience of prudential regulation, including detailed knowledge of UK regulatory requirements alongside a track record of delivering complex prudential projects to a high standard and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders. Strong analytical and financial analysis skills will be a requirement with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
