Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is currently representing an exciting Financial Services organisation in their search for a European Financial Controller to work out of their Manchester city centre based office. The European Financial Controller ideally needs to be ACA/CIMA or ACCA qualified with a strong academic background. Strong technical and analytical skills are crucial and the suitable applicant will need to have advanced Excel. The ability to work to tight deadlines and build strong relationships throughout an organisation is critical. The role involves travelling within Europe so a degree of flexibility is essential. Any exposure to working within a Financial Services business or PLC environment previously is absolutely essential. The European Financial Controller role will involve:- Business partner with the European entities building strong working relationships Ensure all financial information is submitted on time and in accordance with a listed business Improvement of financial controls throughout Europe and look to standardise these Complex scenario analysis Budgeting and forecasting IFRS Reporting Look to influence and guide key stakeholders within the business Provide variance analysis and financial commentary for the European entities Analysis of performance Ad-hoc project work Salary can be anything up to £75,000 substantial benefits package This innovative and exciting business requires an individual who is ambitious and dedicated and would ideally suit an individual with a blend of technical accounting and business partnering skills.
