An experienced and qualified Financial Controller is required to join a market leading engineering business on a permanent basis. Working as a departmental, finance lead providing financial insight and control to underpin business decision making processes. As Financial Controller you will be monitoring and analysing KPIs to control and manage performance in collaboration with other business functions. You will play a key part in decision making processes and contributing to the overall success of the department in the delivery of accurate, timely and clear presentation of financial data. Other responsibilities to include: Management of month end processes, analysis of the transactions elements, preparing journals and monthly reconciliations Regional management and productivity reporting Monthly finance model control including performance analysis and cost control Support of audit and tax reporting processes Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support senior management Fixed Assets Excel Modelling and flow chart creation to support department projects Cost control / management The successful candidate will be a qualified / part qualified accountant with experience of working as part of the senior management team in a large commercial environment. Being able to communicate financial information clearly and concisely with finance and non-finance persons with a commercial perspective will be essential to the success of the role. The successful candidate Will enjoy analytic tasks and be highly proficient with Excel and the wider Microsoft Office software package.
