Role To Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, overseeing the compliance for all aspects of the business. To be the champion of FORS / CLOCS process - making sure they have the first-class delivery of compliance. Meeting Hire demands to manage the fleet in an effective manor whilst keeping the fleet compliant. Managing driver compliance, overseeing the legal obligations of driver rules and regulations. Reporting all no conformance activities to the Transport / Haulage Managers. Your role is key to their success - observing legal and compliance frameworks laid down by regulatory bodies and within company policies. Responsibilities Primary
• Managing Daily / Weekly Tachograph reports, overseeing the Analytics system to keep our drivers in line with EU/Domestic & WTD rules.
• Investigate any missing mileage from Tachograph reports.
• Managing Taxation of the Vehicle Fleet - using Syrinx reminders for fleet reminders.
• Monthly Reporting on Vehicle Compliance - PMI/Tacho/MOT/LOLER.
• Full management and Champion of CLOCS / FORS - Managing all requirements to keep our accreditations.
• Keeping our FORS / Driver documents up to date - Eyesight/Driver checks / Policy documents.
• Managing the Driver licence checks process correct - through external agency.
• FORS - Elearing for all Staff using company vehicles.
• Assist the Head of Transport on update of H&S incident reports.
• Prepare as directed Toolbox Talks to meet monthly targets.
• Assist Depots in Monthly Movement orders - Regular Notifications
• Update Syrinx on ALL driver documentation. Making sure ALL new and existing drivers have all relevant qualifications required to operate our equipment.
• Organise along with the Training Manager all upskilling of drivers, DCPC Modules, course bookings.
• Work towards Earned Recognition - DVSA
• Raise orders under the direction of the Head of Transport.
• Produce Driver league tables for fuel efficiency - targeting CO2 reductions through Tracker information
• Investigate any Cameras / Trackers / Autotacho downloads that are not working correctly.
• KEEPING THE COMPANY LEGAL IN LINE WITH REGULATORY BODIES IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE MANAGER CPC LICENCE AND HAVE A GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF FORS SYSTEMS
