Job Details
Your new company
Your new company is a small, but growing FinTech, with a really innovative product offering targeted at FMCGs; to allow them to digitalise cash, saving cost and increasing security and efficiency. Based in stylish offices in Canary Wharf - they are able to blur the lines between having a cool Tech start-up feel, with the air of a much more established and corporate brand identity.
The business is currently 80 people strong, looking to increase to circa 100 very quickly. Finance is currently a small team, with 7 heads, including this role - this will allow you to get really involved in this company's growth plans moving forwards.
Your new role
In your new role as the Head of Investor Relations, you will be the primary point of contact in the business for prospective investors, fielding their calls and assessing if they are likely to be suitable investors for the company, and align with the company values. You will then work closely with the CFO and CEO to prepare suitable slide decks for the investor presentations.
Further to this - you will be liaising with the current shareholders and investors to ensure that all parties are made aware of the company's state of affairs and to ensure their continued backing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have prior experience working in a Tech Start-Up, and having led on the successful raising of investment for that business.
Ideally you will also be a holder of the CFA, level 1, 2, or 3 - but this is not a pre-requisite.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a generous starting salary, along with 4 pay reviews a year - which will allow to easily track your progression in the company. There are further soft benefits such as private medical, life assurance and 25 days annual leave.
The main reward in a role like this though, will be the stock options that are attributed to the role. The better you perform in your role, and the more investment comes into the business - the more they can grow. This growth will then increase the value of your stock options, and as such, you have the ability to power your own earning potential.
