Your new role
In your new job role as Payroll Manager you will be responsible for paying employees and compiling payroll information by managing payroll preparation, completing reports and maintaining records. You'll be responsible for paying the business expenses and income taxes associated with those employees, alongside office administration work such as filing paperwork, etc.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this job you will ideally have previous experience in a Payroll role up to management level. You'll have strong skills in people management, data entry management, reporting, compensation and wage structure, benefits administration and employment law. You'll possess the ability to quickly and thoroughly resolve all discrepancies that arise within the payroll system, keeping the payroll accounts balanced.
