Description
As Income & Budgeting Accountant, you will work closely with our Finance Business Partners, to ensure you are building and maintaining strong partnership relationships with a number of stakeholders/managers. Ensuring you are adding value and achieving impact and support to better financial decision making.
You will play a key role, ensuring you operating effective and efficient budget management, through the review of actual income and expenditure, budgets and forecasts for schools and services. You will use your proactive approach, strong analytical skills and attention to detail to obtain an in-depth understanding of our processes, systems and workflows around income recognition, budgeting and forecasting, and design and implement comprehensive income analysis for regular and ad hoc reporting.
Profile
- CCAB (or similar) Qualified Accountant
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyse complex data and design relevant reports to inform decision making
- Ability to influence at all levels and work collaboratively, ensuring you are building and maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders
