Client Details
The company is an established engineering group, who is led by an impressive CEO. The business is about to go through a period of change, both from an finance and IT perspective, and is looking for a talented leader who has experience of working in this environment.
Description
The role will take ownership for delivery and support in the following key areas:
Finance leadership. Managing a team of 6 accountants, supporting their development and growth.
IT. This role will manage the relationship with the external IT consultancy, and will project lead the implementation of a new company wide IT system.
Commercial Management. The Head of Finance and IT will work closely with the sales and operations teams in all aspects of commercial finance, which will include project management, preparing business cases, pricing, and customer analysis.
Profile
The successful candidate will be from an engineering, operations, logistics or retail business, which is likely to be multi site. The Head of Finance and IT will be a qualified accountant, who has shown a commercial route to where he/she is now, without frequent job moves on their CV. Experience of the implementation of a new IT system is essential.
Job Offer
A salary of between £70-90,000 depending on experience, and a generous bonus scheme.
