An experienced Costing Management Accountant is required for a growing business near Barrow In Furness.

Your new company

Your new company is a busy Manufacturing organisation that are currently recruiting for an experienced Costing Management Accountant to join their growing finance team on a full time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a local finance professional to join one of the areas largest and most reputable employers.


Your new role

Your new role is a varied role that involves reviewing the inventory costing and reporting of the business. You will work closely with the finance team and Head of Finance to ensure that the costings produced are accurate. The role will also involve analysing costs and driving cost saving initiatives, ensuring that profits are maximised. You will also work very closely with the sales teams and wider business to ensure that models support customer bids.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Accountant, Qualified by Experience, or have ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background and be willing to work in a production environment as well as working as part of the commercial office team. You will be a confident team player, who is able to communicate with senior managers and who is analytical. with excellent attention to detail. You will be pro active with problem solving ability. ERP experience would also be a huge advantage. My client is open to candidates at all levels of experience, providing there is a desire and willingness to learn and a strong interest in Costing and Commercial Accounting. On the reverse to this, my client is open to meeting with fully Qualified Accountants who perhaps are seeking a role closer to home to enhance work life balance.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a very competitive salary based on market rate and level of experience. The salary on offer for this role is between £28,000- £33,000 per annum, with some element of flexibility for the right candidate. The business will offer a full induction and on going training and support to ensure that all employees are able to meet their maximum potential.
