This means that they want someone to be able to start immediately or be on short notice. They are ideally looking for someone with 3 years experience within General Ledger Accounting who has experience of working within the construction, manufacturing or engineering industry sectors (but this is not essential. The people here are just great to work with too This role will support the Finance Managers so is an integral position with the Finance Team Duties include: Input Monthly Bank Transactions to the General Ledger Complete Bank and other Ledgers reconciliations Dealing with On-Line BACS & Cash payments Journals Input Prepare Monthly Margins Report Assist with updating the P&L Reports and Indices on EXCEL Assist with Ledger and Nominal reconciliations VAT (Inc Manual VAT invoices) and PAYE Reconciliations for timely payment Ad Hoc reports and Document Filing Other tasks as required by the job Provide Support for Purchase, Sub Contractor's and Credit Control Ledger Experience required: 3 years within a Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant role AAT or ACCA Qualification desirable but not essential. Good command of excel Excellent reconciliation experience Strong work ethic Very personable Reliable
