Within the role you will be accountable for: Business partnering to Project Managers as appropriate for all CAPEX and OPEX project spend and forecasts. Monthly accruals in the first few working days of the month for all large projects and also hold reviews to validate these with each of the related PM's. Produce accruals schedules for the key projects, showing ageing accruals and reconciliations back to the General Ledger. Supporting the maintenance and development of the project allocations file, facilitating Finance approval for new allocations. Preparing monthly management reporting on project spend with project managers and budget owners to control their spend within budget. Supporting IT Finance Business Partner with consolidated IT view, monthend reporting and Ad Hoc reporting. Supporting the budget process. Work closely with the PMO team to standardised financial templates, validation of information produced out of Planview Work with stakeholders to deliver proactive management of the project cost base and help identify areas where costs can be reduced or risks and mitigating actions. Continued improvement on reporting processes and documenting of these. Review all invoices, ensuring that all have been coded correctly to the projects and producing the journals to correct these in the GL. Support any additional accounting that made required on the projects CAPEX. Prepare Ad Hoc reports at the request of stakeholders, providing financial support to senior management. Ensuring that all queries from internal stakeholders are dealt with effectively and promptly. - Newly Qualified or Part qualified accountant - ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
