Team We are now looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing team here at Endsleigh. Reporting to the Strategic Pricing Manager, you will be in a team of 6 pricing analysts and data scientists, making an impact during this busy and exciting time of growth. Role The Pricing Analyst will propose and deploy changes to prices in real time based on a deep understanding of market price elasticity and competitor activity, in order to maximise Endsleigh's financial result.Some key accountability will include: Analyse daily and intra-day trading performance across personal lines products Analyse market changes and competitor activity Make adjustments to deployed pricing strategies to maximise short-term performance by capitalising on market fluctuations. Utilise internal and external data sources to assess our market position and understand competitor pricing changes which can be reacted to. Utilise Earnix pricing optimisation software to deploy changes in real time and monitor their impact. Design and implement experiments to better understand customer behaviour in an agile way. Assess the performance of our insurer panel in relation to one another and the market, and work closely with insurer trading to get the best net rate possible from our suppliers. Person The Pricing Analyst will help to develop a deep understanding of the Personal Lines competitive landscape, in order to brief senior stakeholders to propose & implement the most effective pricing strategies. The successful person will be or have: Degree in an analytical or economics focussed subject. Experience in using SQL, SAS, R, Python or other statistical analysis software. Ability to assimilate quantitative and qualitative data sources in order to draw conclusions about trading performance and suggest changes. Highly analytical and motivated by fast-paced commercial decision making. Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders and a background/understanding of the economics of demand elasticity desirable.
