Head of Financial Transactions- Salisbury - £55,000 The Role Robert Half Finance and Accounting are actively seeking a Head of Transactions for a well-renowned and respected company in Salisbury. This is a chance to be part of one of the fastest growing service companies in the UK. This means there is the opportunity for both personal and professional growth. This role will head up the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and General Ledger functions and look to streamline the processes within these. Main responsibilities include: Assist with the development of procedures and controls to improve the timeliness and accuracy of outputs from all departments. Work closely with external business partners to maintain high standard of service to clients. Mentor and develop staff within the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and General Ledger departments Provide KPI's and reporting for the Head of Finance. Generally work within teams to find better ways of doing day-to-day activities Your Profile There is so much to get involved in with this role. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a real 'can-do' attitude Great people management skills and experience is essential. This could mean having previously managed a purchase ledger, sales ledger or credit control team. This is a high-volume environment so therefore we need someone who is good under pressure and can work to tight deadlines.
