MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Financial Accountant for a well-established business that are based in the outskirts of Colchester to join their friendly finance team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting with the month-end close activities, including group reporting and balance sheet control. This role will provide full support in delivering financial reporting control to the group, ensuring that guidelines are adhered to as well as managing the sales ledger and inter-company recharge process. It is also important to highlight that this role will ensure integrity of period end reporting to Statutory standards. This role would be ideal for someone that comes from a similar background that is keen to develop and progress within a growing and friendly team. responsibilities:
To manage certain financial accounts activities to ensure strong balance sheet control Assist in the completion of local Statutory Accounts, filing and group reporting To work with key stakeholders within the group to ensure strong controls, compliance and governance Effective review, control and management of balance sheet accounts To assist in the delivery of year end, half year and interim audits To manage the sundry sales ledgers Experience required: Previous experience within a similar opportunity would be highly beneficial - experience of preparing Statutory accounts and reports Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy Strong team player with the ability to maintain relationships across all levels of the business The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and workloads The ideal candidate will be studying towards an accountancy qualifications.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA Strong IT skills e.g Microsoft Excel This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an established Company that is continuing to grow and offers future progression and development.
