Our client is a market leading re-insurance company aiming to deliver more affordable insurance for householders and commercial builds in area of high flood risk. As a market leader in flood re-insurance they provide a lower excess premium to areas of flood risk or flood damaged property across the UK. The company has recently frozen its premiums and has seen a large increase in cover purchases and turnover. As the company grow they are planning to offer a similar model into European countries. With the company being certified by both the Prudential Regulatory Authority and Financial Conduct Authority, they are looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance with experience in an FCA regulated environment in either the insurance or financial services industry and experience of a high growth environment. Responsibilities Sign off of monthly management accounts, financial performance and KPIs Monthly variance analysis to plan Control of FX hedging, forwards and options Review and upgrade of company internal controls, process and systems Preparation of board pack for quarterly meetings Assessment of tax positions, group payroll and pension funding Desired Skills ACA/ACCA qualified with minimum 5 years PQE Experience in the insurance or financial services industry Management of finance team Experience in a FCA regulated environment
