Salary:
Salary dependent on experience Contract: Permanent Part time Hours: Monday to Wednesday 09:00am to 16:00pm Are you experienced processing payroll and bookkeeping? This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with practice experience to work with a new up and coming business based in Newcastle town centre. Could this be your next position? Main responsibilities for the role are:
• Balancing accounts
• Processing sales invoices and payments
• Processing purchase invoices
• VAT returns
• CIS returns
• Bank reconciliation
• Preparing management accounts
• Handling prepayments and accruals
• Preparing year end files
• To process client payrolls, monthly, weekly and fortnightly
• Complete and submit all PAYE and NIC documentation including forms P45, P46, P38s
• Maintain employee records in payroll files and on Excel
• Keep up to date with legislation changes
• Liaise with clients and HMRC Skills and experience required:
• Experience processing payroll and bookkeeping experience
• Experience processing payroll using SAGE
• Experience with Quickbooks & Xero is highly beneficial
• High Level of attention to detail
• Excellent Excel skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
