A rapidly growing Tax and Accountancy Practice is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their specialist accounts and tax advisory practice for UK property investment and development clients. This fantastic start-up business assists their clients with navigating complex UK accounting and tax regulations. This role will include but may not be limited to: Preparing personal and company tax returns Preparing non corporate accounts Preparing personal and company tax returns Running monthly payrolls Preparing quarterly VAT returns Assist principal to meet and manage client expectations and anticipate protection issues Developing business wide processes and performance regarding accounts and tax production work on a continuous improvement basis Provide support to the principal and assist other team members as required Motivate and act as a mentor to other team members The role requires the individual to work diligently, confidently and under their own initiative to support a fast paced and varied workload of accounts and taxation services. Applicants must: Be ACCA/ACA qualified or potentially qualified by experience. Have 2 years' experience in practice preparing business accounts and tax computations (business and personal). Able to communicate well with clients and colleagues, you will work well as part of a team. You will be well organised, methodical and able to manage priorities. Have a keen eye for detail and be accurate with your work and the assessment of others work. You can work to tight deadline and manage client's expectations. You must demonstrate honesty, integrity and be flexible and adaptable. Have experience that aligns with the needs of this role in the last 2 years Be self-motivated and actively seek new challenges/opportunities to develop your self and the firm. Knowledge of the property industry preferred, however not essential. Be proficient in the use of accounts and tax software (CCH experience preferred but not essential) If you have the required experience and expertise and wish to be considered for this exciting position, please forward your CV in the first instance.
