A globally renowned charitable organisation are currently in need of a Financial Accountant to join their financial controls team on a one-year contract to cover maternity. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and high-performing team and take a lead of financial statement preparation through both the charity and property arms or the organisation. As the Financial Accountant your role will involve: - Month-end VAT returns and reconciliations - Monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Investment reconciliations - Working with the treasury team and approving payments - Taking a lead on year-end tasks The ideal candidate for this role will: - Be a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - Have experience in preparing financial statements - Have a keen work ethic and be a problem solver who can work of their own accord To apply for this role please submit your CV today.
