One of the world's most exciting, innovation driven bio-pharma companies are recruiting for a Project Accountant in a vital role in the delivery of the Record to Report Transformation Programme. In this role you will ensure appropriate Finance governance is in place during the length of R2R Transformation to ensure all costs, accruals and project benefits are captured and reported accordingly. Working closely with the rest of the R2R transformation project team and Finance BP to ensure all relevant input into actuals reports as well as ensuring various forecasting and budgeting exercises are provided. You will also be Developing a business case realisation framework with key stakeholders and working with to collate and agree benefits as achieved. The Position: Manages finance delivery in R2R transformation globally, delivering updated finance forecasts which support the company objectives and incorporate the Finance strategic priorities Provide input to longer term development and improvement of finance policy Manage Finance resource requirements to deliver objectives and enable successful execution of day-to-day programme delivery Develop and manage the department budget including tracking the recruitment of project resourcing and monitoring timesheets to ensure the Finance BP is able to accrue as appropriate. Operates independently escalating only the most complex issues Act as a finance specialist in a single technical area providing specialist advice & heading-up project delivery in this area Working with senior management to understand business priorities and tailor finance support to requirements Monitor performance, identifying and resolving any issues Regularly review finance policies and processes, identifying areas for enhancement and making recommendations for change Partner with stakeholders and third parties to ensure effective ongoing change management will deliver cost effective and efficient processes What we're looking for: A qualified, specialist finance professional Experience of working in project finance within a large business & within governance frameworks Significant experience within a specific discipline such as management accounting & reporting, project accounting & reporting, FP&A Highly numerate, analytical thinker Independent yet collaborative Well-developed commercial skills Finance or business related degree holder (desirable) Other specialist financial qualifications (desirable) At polkadotfrog recruitment we do our very best to ensure both client and candidate satisfaction.
