Assistant Financial Accountant

up to £26.5k Four Recruitment are currently looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a hugely successful company based in the centre of Stockport on a full time, permanent basis. Working within a large shared service centre, your role will be to support the Financial Accountant and Business Analyst in the production of various reports and returns. This will involve the reconciliation of accounts, preparation of journals and analysing financial information. Your responsibilities are but not limited to: Assist in the production of GRNI reports for issue to the management accounts team Preparation and posting of journals at period end General ledger reconciliations Preparation of supplier statements and follow up of any disprepancies Assist in the production of VAT Returns Analyses of financial data and assisting in the production of reports Ideal candidate: Minimum of 12 months working in a similar role Studying towards an accountancy qualification - (AAT/ACCA/ACA) Strong excel skills Excellent communication, both written and verbally Free parking is available along with study support for the right candidate and some excellent benefits If you like the sound of this role and would like to hear more, please apply to this role or send your CV to
