Job Description Provide VAT compliance and support the provision of advisory services to clients. Support Throgmorton accounting teams in the preparation and review of VAT returns. Responsibility for ensuring that VAT administrative processes such as billing and reporting are undertaken. Ensuring that technical training and updates are provided to wider Throgmorton team. Preparation and/or review of VAT registrations, VAT returns, VAT refund claims Working, coordinating and sharing resources with VAT team Developing and assisting in the delivery of a VAT technical training program for internal and external delivery Provide VAT technical assistance for colleagues within Throgmorton on VAT related matters. Maintain high technical standards and keeping up to date on technical developments by way of technical literature, tax technical updates and other specifically targeted training courses Qualifications Client service oriented Good written and oral communication skills Good team player with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Well organised and self-motivated Preferably HMRC trained and/or ATT or CTA qualified. Exceptionally qualified by experience.
