A leading international Healthcare business with Global revenues in excess of $40bn seek an ambitious ACA or ACCA qualified professional to join them as Head of Finance Controls and Compliance. The successful candidate will be practice trained and will have gained post qualified experience in industry in a Financial Control/Reporting role. Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller for Europe you will be a key member of the Finance team, responsible for the management of the Financial Controls & Compliance team and a key contributor to financial change management and policy decisions. You will operate as a key finance representative on Division-wide committees, working parties and other initiatives, as required. Duties: The management and leadership of the performance of the Financial Controls & Compliance team. Responsible for all financial systems and accounting /transaction processes throughout the Division, ensuring adequate financial controls are in place. Ensuring key finance personnel across the Division are trained appropriately in key financial processes through the development and presentation of training materials Lead on all external and internal audit requirements Support in the production of materials for the Quarterly Audit Committee. Working with Division personnel to ensure that recommendations from both Internal and external audits are actioned appropriately and within reasonable timescales. Ensure capital processes are developed, adhered to and monitored appropriately. This includes the reconciliation of actual capital expenditure to budget. Responsible for the development of a monitoring programme to ensure key financial controls are in place for all processes with a financial impact to the Division. For new processes and initiatives, act as the key finance representative on committees and working groups to ensure new processes and initiatives work with existing control framework and finance risks are mitigated appropriately. To play an integral part in the continuous improvement and effectiveness of the finance department and the Division, as a whole. To lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to Continuing Professional Development for the team.
