Reconciliations Assistant Cambridge £12 - £14 per hour plus holiday pay A large, well-known company in Cambridge are looking for someone to join their credit team on a temporary basis for 2 - 3 months. Although this role reports to the Credit Manager, we are looking for a finance professional with strong reconciliation and general accounting skills for this temporary assignment. Your responsibilities will include:
• Reconciliation of important and high value accounts.
• Maintain customer records to ensure that the information held regarding individual accounts can play a primary part in the evaluation of the creditworthiness of the account holder and for the purpose of monitoring credit circumstance during an account lifetime.
• To ensure that the record of information is safe, efficient and reliable.
• To ensure that key characteristics are satisfied, policies are adhered to while facilitating a target focused sales environment. Aiding growth and the dissemination of product within a safe, fair and manageable boundary relevant to the individual customer.
• Minimise bad debt/debtors and ensure balances are collected in a timely fashion.
• Keep a sale live when there is a need to deny credit to customers who are not a good credit risk.
• Resolve disputes effectively.
• Meet and work with key customers via telephone, email communication and when customers visit the branch. in order to gain a clearer understanding of their business.
