This award winning independent company, specialises in providing investment management services in the UK and internationally. Primarily concerned with asset management and financial planning, this trail blazer is seeking an Assistant Business Development Manager. You will be a key focal liaison between senior management and two BDMs. Your focus will be spent maximising sales by marketing the services of Investment Management. The focus of the role will be. To support the Directors and BDMs in maximising the sales time and marketing the Investment Management Service To support the budget target of Distribution in the region To provide and support new and existing business development activities To identify, contact and arrange meetings for the BDMs To liaise with the BDMs to identify and agree geographical focus for new meetings To ensure a consistent message is relayed across the region's advisor population To widen the existing net of coverage of the intermediary market Undertake appropriate diary management with the BDMs to assist them in being pro-active Make pro-active new business calls, whether that be with existing or new firms and or self-generated or following specific marketing campaigns Client servicing and account management To support and develop relationships with professional advisers, product providers and third parties To support and attend new business development sales meetings, taking minutes and preparing reports Produce the required MI data including monthly sales figures Organisation of corporate entertainment events Support with the development of new sales literature Principled in your approach, you will be proactive and accustomed to a client facing role. A strong communicator, you will have a proven track record of reaching targets consistently in a sales role / or an accomplished sales support looking to step into a more sales focussed role. A demonstrable financial / investment knowledge, alongside its processes and procedures is essential. You'll be positive and self motivated and possess the ability to engage a diverse client base within a challenging, fast-paced and results driven environment.
