This role would suit a technical and commercially minded individual who has developed experience in industry and looking to gain further experience within a commercial role.

Responsibilities:
Production of entity management accounts packs including variance analysis and commentary for a number of group companies Supervising transactional accounting (e.g. purchase ledger, debtor ledger, bank reconciliations) Preparation and posting of journals and accounting entries relating to the role Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring responsibility for a number of group companies Financial analysis and ad hoc support for management and other key stakeholders Undertaking VAT calculations and submitting VAT returns Supplier payment run processing and cash management Resolving queries and discrepancies Contributing to the year-end accounts and audit process Requirements: Ideally later staqe AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment Experience of supporting a broader commercial finance team Ability to work with integrity and absolute discretion Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and accounting systems A team player with an enthusiastic, positive attitude Proactive, organised and with a 'can do' flexible attitude Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet tight deadlines Keywords: Temp Interim Assistant Accountant Assistant Management Accountant immediate start Exeter AAT CIMA ACCA.
