A new role has been created with a successful business who are recruiting for a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant, will play a key role within the Finance Team, assisting the Finance Manager with budgets, the preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flows. The Management Accountant supervises the activities of the Finance Assistant. Management Accountant duties Producing draft monthly management accounts. Reconciliation of balance sheet controls. Company cash flow forecast. Responsible for debt & credit control. Daily processing and control of all bank accounts and monthly reconciliations. Processing company credit card & staff expenses. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role. Management Accountant person specification Professionally Qualified Accountant. Strong planning and organisational skills. Highly methodical and accurate approach to work. Verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in relation to company and financial data. Flexible and dependable approach. Working experience and competence of Microsoft Office packages. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant, perhaps looking to make their first move from practice to industry.
