Becoming a Client Finance Analyst with Insurance Services: To be part of a Client Accounting team responsible for the accounting, management and statutory reporting for Lloyd's syndicates. To maintain the nominal ledger and producing the supporting schedules for the monthly/quarterly management accounts. What you will do: Posting all receipts and payments to cashbook and expense codes Reconciliation of TB accounts including bank, debtors and creditors accounts, overseas deposits, underwriting movements. Raising of payments: Raising requisition and journals Maintaining payment log Monitoring daily cash balances Assisting Syndicate Accountants with maintenance of ledgers Producing supporting schedules for the accounts Assisting with preparation of Quarterly VAT return Assisting with audit queries Your experience will include: Basic book-keeping experience Ability to work to tight deadlines Experience of using Microsoft Excel Flexible and proactive Desirable Skills: AAT or qualified by experience Insurance accounting experience Lloyd's of London accounts experience Experience of Sun accounts About Insurance Services At Insurance Services, part of Capita plc, we provide a back-office administration function and underwriting services to the insurance industry.
