Pay rate is between £250 - £300 per day. Key skills Retail finance experience / understanding of sales, margin and gross profit Commercial awareness and interest in Retail / consumer focused businesses Quick learner, enthusiastic and solution driven Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Finance systems knowledge Ability to communicate well with senior management, business stakeholders and other finance teams Good commercial understanding of the business & market Budgeting and forecasting experience Maintenance of rigorous financial controls Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA Key Accountabilities and Measures Weekly & Quarterly Trading: Accountable for supporting, interpreting and analysing the weekly trading information across Clothing and Home to enable understanding of business performance Producing key reports and trading analysis for senior finance and commercial stakeholders as part of weekly trade Review reporting as produced by the finance shared service centre to ensure data integrity Owning the key central information including sales to gross profit tools and models Planning & Forecasting: Accountable for supporting the quarterly planning and forecasting process of total sales to gross profit - owning the relevant models and consolidation of sales building blocks Responsible for identifying risks and opportunities in the plan Deliver forecast and budget outputs including packs for Directors and submissions to Group Finance Supporting the strategic 3 Year planning process for total Clothing and Home Deliver the 10 year network plan to support the strategic network plan Ensuring strong financial control across the trading, planning and forecasting processes Insight, Analysis & Projects: Specific adhoc analysis for the Directors and business stakeholders to support decision making as required Review opportunities to streamline reporting and drive efficiencies across trading, planning and reporting processes Stakeholder Management: Coordinating with BU analysts, Channels, Logistics and Group Finance to align Budget, forecast and reporting deliverables Close stakeholder relationship with selling channel teams (Retail & Online) to ensure consistency on financials and messaging Building relationships with key commercial stakeholders including availability, allocation & stock management teams - challenging whilst supporting / providing insight Link to Investor Relations to provide key facts, data and stories for quarterly / half yearly and full year results, managing the consolidation of key inputs from BU's, Channels, Promotions team etc as required General Drive a no surprise culture Meet agreed performance objectives and ways of working; identify and progress areas for personal development Uphold the Finance Group Values Key relationships and stakeholders Head of Finance Online and Retail Channels Business unit finance teams Group Finance team Investor Relations If you are relevant or interested don't delay, contact me on 0161 924 1416 This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/85737516
