Assistant Accountant - Coventry £22,000 - £28,000pa We are currently working with a Coventry client who are in the process of relocating their offices to the area and as a result have the need to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance this is a fantastic opportunity to get to support in every aspect of the Monthly Accounting process. About the Role Working alongside a very hands on Head of Finance you will assist in everything necessary to deliver a first class accounting support to the business owners. Typical responsibilities will include:- Production and analysis of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting Assist on the activities to help the completion of the month end process Cashbook control Various project accounting tasks Ensuring the smooth running of the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions Liaising daily with the various stakeholders to ensure the correct information is collated and relayed in a timely manner Assist in the supervision of an apprentice About you This is an ideal role if you are currently working towards an Accountancy qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or perhaps you have completed AAT and wish to expand your experience further. You will need to have worked in a busy, hands on finance function and have a very positive, "can do" attitude to getting the job done. Any previous experience of using Sage systems and multi-currency work would be highly advantageous.
