£50,000 to £60,000 plus Excellent Stock Options This is a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Manager or Financial Controller to join a well-funded and highly innovative Tech start-up based in Leicester. Founded, five years ago and revenue generating this technology company has a solid base and an effective management structure in place. The role would suit a Financial Controller or Finance Manager working within an SME or Start-up looking to take the next step to a board level position. You will work closely with their founder and CEO who has taken several Tech Businesses to IPO. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual looking to take a company to eventual floatation. The Role Within the role you would take responsibility at board level for the finance and administration of the business supported by a small team. Working closely with the senior management team you will contribute to the business strategy while ensuring the smooth running of the finance function encompassing budgeting, management accounts, statutory accounts and cashflow management. You will also work closely with the CEO in securing additional funding from VC's, shareholders and customers including presenting at board level where required. Key Experience Required We are looking for someone with a real passion for growing and developing companies that has worked as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager for an SME or Start-up business and is looking for a challenge. You will have excellent presentation skills, be used to presenting at board level and will be well versed in fund raising activities both from existing customers and external VC's. You will also need to be qualified: ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will be looking for a challenging but exciting opportunity and one where you will be highly rewarded for success through generous stock options.
