We are working with a leading global group who have a Credit Manager opportunity available for an experienced Credit Manager to come in, lead and motivate a small team of experienced Credit Controllers. The job; - To assist the business group in enabling sound customer/credit applications to facilitate business growth - To manage the day to day activities of the Credit Control Team - To decide as to whether or not credit is offered within the companies stringent credit protocol guidelines - Dealing with internal queries about payments - Ensuring customers pay on time and in full - Negotiating customers/clients repayment plans where necessary - Pro-actively chasing debt - Accurate and timely posting of cash receipts - Full credit risk responsibility for all divisions - Full control of collection policy for the group trading divisions and maintenance of credit policy documents - Handle pre-legal letters and work closely with external solicitor to get late payment interest and delinquent debts paid - Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting - Responsible for monitoring of customers exposures and Experian monitoring - Liaison point for all operational staff on credit, collection and assist on commercial matters The person; - Proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner - Excellent communication skills to ensure understanding across cross functional disciplines - Proven exceptional planning and organisation skills - Commercial/business awareness The benefits; - On-site parking - Company bonus scheme - Company pension scheme - Life assurance - 25 days holiday plus stats - 37 hour working week - Share option scheme For more information please contact Faith Collins Sewell Wallis acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
