This organisation's aim is to encourage continuous improvement in the management of quality in the Disability Student Allowance sector and they work closely with all stakeholders including Study Needs Assessment Centres, Assistive Technology Service Providers, Non Medical Help Providers and various Funding Bodies. The Central Administration Unit (CAU), based in Glasgow, is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team to carry out the role of Compliance Officer. The primary function of the role is to ensure providers of support services to DSA funded students comply with the standards outlined in each of the quality assurance frameworks (QAF). This is achieved through multi element programmes including, self-assessment, online data submission and on-site verification. For this role, specifically, the main function will be to audit and validate data submitted online by registered Non-medical Help providers. Whilst not essential, experience of this or a similar role would be beneficial. Whilst the role is primarily carried out from their base in Glasgow, there may be a requirement for occasional travel to carry out onsite audits. A valid driving licence would also be beneficial, but not essential. All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and be competent in the use of IT equipment. The post is offered initially on a 12-month contract. The current salary £20k - £25k per annum with 25 days annual leave (pro rata). The closing date is Friday 29 March 2019.
