Assistant Accountant (Temporary) - Loughborough - Up to £25,000 Chase and Holland are happy to be partnering a business in Loughborough looking to recruit a Assistant Accountant on an ongoing temporary basis for a minimum of three months. This role is suited to someone who can come in and just get on with the task in hand. Our client is looking for someone with good excel skills to help out with balance sheet reconciliations mostly while also helping towards month and year end procedures. This is a fast-paced people-oriented business and so the client needs someone who can deal with constant and changing challenges. You will also need to be able to multi task and be completely accurate in your work. Our client will need someone to come in with an inquiring mind, who with limited support, can be able to develop a set of Balance Sheet Reconciliations for last year, plus templates for this new year. Responsibilities:
Maintenance of the nominal ledgers, bank reconciliations and processing monthly journals Credit control and fee income billing for our clients Assisting with credit control procedures, and cash flow management process. Managing and maintaining customer and supplier accounts, including processing supplier and customer invoices, statements and remittance advices. Assisting with the setting up supplier payment runs. Managing financial transactions including petty cash and client monies. Ensure that all reporting tasks are met accurately and on time. Key Requirements and Preferences: Excel to intermediate level is a must Previous experience of working as an Accounts Assistant or Office Accounts experience Can work well under pressure and hit the ground running Sufficient with software and can adapt quickly Relevant qualifications or equivalent accounts experience In return you'll receive: The chance to work in a family environment where you can express yourself.
