Assistant Management Accountant - Nottingham (NG9) - Up to £23k Study Support Great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to gain a step up in responsibility that give you relevant experience to fit in line with your CIMA / ACCA exams. You will be working as part of a team of ten in finance, allowing you scope to progress your experience in line with your qualification while still maintaining a broad and varied role; covering both management and financial accounting. The Financial Controller is keen to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Management Accountant who is keen to study for CIMA or ACCA. Full study support will be provided for you to complete your qualification. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Supporting the Management Accountant with the production of the management accounts and board packs Month-end responsibility - posting of journals, accruals and prepayments Support with the preparation of the month-end tax pack Project accounting and analysis Cash flow forecasting Supporting with accounts payable and accounts receivable Intercompany reconciliations YOUR EXPERIENCE AAT qualified (level 4 studiers also considered) or university graduate with an accountancy related degree At least 12 months experience in a varied role Some month-end management accounting experience strongly desirable Keen to study CIMA / ACCA and progress your career in finance
