FP & A / Financial Planning Analyst - Central London - Up to £65,000 pa Do you want to work for a leading retail business who are currently going through an exciting growth drive, offer superb benefits and have a focus on career development? Reporting into the Financial Planning Manager and supporting the highly credible and engaging Divisional Financial Controller, this role has a large degree of autonomy and will be responsible for working closely with this senior team to drive constant improvements in both processes and reporting. Key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate a commercial acumen and an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels (both within finance and non-finance) and be an effective business partner. About you
• You will be an experienced Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong commercial grounding.
• Previous retail and/or multisite experience is highly beneficial.
• Experience of Business Partnering with Senior Stakeholders and capable of operating in a changing and fast-moving environment.
• Self-managing, capable of planning and prioritising a broad and extensive range of activities.
• You will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring financial data is summarised in a logical and informative manner, appropriate to the given audience
• You will have advanced Excel skills and an ability to present financial data in a clear manner You will also be a strong communicator; building credible relationships and influencing across teams through having a solid awareness of people as well as numerical data The role As a member of the international FP&A team you will work with various business partners and senior finance colleagues to produce impactful financial analysis and forecasts in order to guide value-adding strategic decision making. This role is involved in building financial modelling and analysis capabilities within the division. There will also be significant opportunity to identify and implement improvements to existing forecasting processes. You will closely with the team with responsibility for running the management of reporting, business analysis, performance management and operational planning/forecasting cycle for the relevant regions. Given the carrying regional factors, this can be a complex division/role and you will be working closely with and engaging regional stakeholders to ensure consistency of all planning and forecasting. Main Duties:
• Provide a financial planning and forecasting for international business units
• Deliver periodic and annual budgets and forecasts
• Assist with the implementation of improvements to process improvements
• Support the production of Management Information that is robust and fit for purpose
• Assist with setting planning and forecasting timetables for the organisation
