Role: Management Accountant -French speaking Department: Accounts (Monthly) Operational Reporting: COO Educational Qualification: ACCA / CIMA Finalist preferred Work Experience: Prior experience of Restaurants/Hotels industry preferred - not essential Work hours: Full Time Role Description: Account Handler plays a key role in managing the relationship with client. They are responsible to ensure that all deliverables are completed in time and according to the agreed SLA. These deliverables include monthly accounts, audit packs and other reports relevant to the client. Ultimately, you will help our Accounts department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and, efficiency in all transactions. Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review month-end management accounts for clients. 2. Prepare forecasts and budgets for clients. 3. Manage healthy relations with suppliers and service providers. 4. Review and maintain aged debtors report monthly, and ensure overdue balances are followed-up. 5. Review and maintain aged creditors report monthly, and ensure overdue balances are flagged to the management. 6. Ensure balances sheet items are reconciled. 7. Co-ordinate information flow between back-office and Client. 8. Ensure that all the reporting deadline targets are met - VAT returns, PAYE payments etc. 09.Perform ad-hoc cost analysis requested by the management. 10. Process weekly/monthly payment runs per agreed payment terms. 11. Ensure creditors accounts are reconciled monthly. 12. Identify and analyse trends and key performance indicators. 13.Travel and visit client at their work site, when required. 14. Other ad-hoc duties. Skills Required: 1. Analytical/Logical aptitude. Attention to detail. 2. Self-motivated. 3. Knowledge of MS Excel 4. Good communication skills (written & verbal) 5. Customer Service orientation 6. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service standards 7. Team-player attitude. 8.
