Financial Controller Hazel Grove, Stockport £40,000 to £50,000 My client is looking to expand their accounting function with a new senior hire who would enjoy being part of the leadership team and someone keen to add value to financial operations. With this in mind the business would like the successful person to grow with the organisation with the potential of directorship in the coming years based on business and personal performance. Reporting Line(s): Company Directors x2 & External Auditors Job Specification: Supporting the company directors by presenting a first class accountancy reporting pack with detailed analysis on business performance revenue streams Closing month end and producing a final set of management accounts Providing commentary and analysis on company performance recognising areas of agreement and non-agreement Reviewing budgets and forecast and setting monthly expectations Profit and loss reporting Cash flow management and producing detailed report on cash status Producing the statutory accounts and close of this in preparation of year-end audit Be the point of contact with the external auditors Management of all bank accounts and liaison with bank and external parties Production and submission of the quarterly VAT Bank reconciliation and cash allocation Full management of purchase and sales ledger process from entry to month end close Credit control management, dealing with all customers in a respectful and courteous manner ensuring payment is received promptly Creation and submission of the monthly payroll for all staff, ensuring confidentiality is respected Handling all enquiries and operating with a solutions based approach Management of the bespoke software package Candidate Experience: Qualified CIMA/ACCA or ACA Working experience within a privately owned SME business ideally family run Management of a finance function previously and having held responsibility to control the accounts reporting schedule Confident communication style in dealing with all members of staff internally and external partners Company Values: Integrity Honesty Transparency Teamwork Fun If you are interested in hearing more regarding this outstanding position please contact Cameron Roberts;
