Payroll Officer
Reed Payroll are pleased to be working with a well known company in Bishop's Stortford who are looking to hire a Payroll Officer . This is a full time role on a fixed term contract basis , and the successful candidate will be expected to start before, or soon after, the Easter bank holiday. The contract is expected to last up to 12 months , but may finish sooner. The successful candidate will receive a salary up to £29,000 per annum pro rata, and be eligible for some fantastic company benefits including: company pension, holiday allowance, private healthcare, social events and more
Responsibilities:
- Processing of both monthly and weekly payrolls - Submission of HMRC information - Handling and resolving payroll queries - Payroll administration including distribution of P45s, P60s and payslips - Calculation of statutory payments - Calculation of pension contributions - Processing employee expenses - Support management with continuous process improvement - Any / all other ad hoc tasks as required by the Accountancy team Skills & Experience Needed: - Strong previous experience working within a Payroll function with experience processing payroll electronically and manually. - Experience calculating statutory payments and managing / submitting relevant administration. - Able to start work before on on the end of April 2019 - Full commitment to a fixed term contract - Relevant qualification or certification highly desirable If this sounds like you, and you're looking for a Payroll opportunity within a well-regarded organisation, then please apply now Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
