Your new role
Overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company's strategy. Ensure robust preparation of financial statements, internal management reporting, working capital management and providing clear understanding of the business drivers and their impact on the strategies and operating results

Form a close working relationship with the General Manager and other business Directors as trusted business partner
Lead, motivate and develop the finance team, with responsibility for training and development and appraisals of this team
Full P&L and Balance Sheet ownership, accurate financial control, budgeting, business analysis and financial forecasting, including 3-year planning
Provide insightful finance analysis and management information to the leadership team including reviewing performance measures to drive accelerated revenue and profit growth
Drive performance and accountability through a suite of reports and regular performance reviews to monitor adherence to budgets and drive corrective action where required
Lead and manage the forecast process across the business unit - monthly business reviews, quarterly forecasts, and annual long-term forecasts
Ensure the budgeting & forecasting processes are delivered to the Group timetable
Continual analyses of market trends, customer behaviour and economic factors to assist the leadership team in creating strategic plans for the future
Work with the leadership team and other stakeholders to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans Contribute fully to the development of the strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
Manage working capital and capital investment effectively to ensure accurate forecasts and delivery of Group cash requirements
Ensure effective management of financial risk, control and governance
Ensure that all finance and accounting requirements are accurately and efficiently carried out in accordance with accounting standards and group requirements and within set deadlines
Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth Work with Group Finance to provide robust financial information for the bi-annual investor presentations. Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers and advisors.



What you'll need to succeed
Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
Be a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Exceptional communication skills at all levels
Strong IT skills
Ability to handle ambiguity, high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
