Assistant Project Accountant

An international-facing and highly regarded organisation based in Oxford is actively growing its finance team and is seeking a Assistant Project Accountant. This role will be report into the Finance Manager and aims to provide technical finance review and reporting support to Senior Management as well as wider parts of the business.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for managing the cashflow activities for all global transactions and forecast on a weekly basis to provide senior management with a clear understanding of the business's cash position. Wider areas of responsibility include month end reporting review, intercompany transfer balances and collaborating with departmental managers to advise on financial matters in relation to projects.

To be successful, you will need to have previous experience with technical reporting, cash management, banking and project accounting. Furthermore, you will need to be proactive in tackling tasks and comfortable managing workloads to meet deadlines. Confident communicator, attention to detail and team player will also be desirable attributes. This business will also consider first time movers from practice for this position.

This is a permanent and full-time opportunity offering £29,000 per annum plus package, as well as providing wide ranging exposure with the opportunity to add value that will support the business internationally.
