Long-term interim opportunity for a qualified accounting manager to join a large business in Slough.

Your new company
A multi-billion turnover international business with a regional HQ located in smart, modern offices in Slough. This is a forward-thinking organisation with a strong record of growth looking for a qualified accounting manager to join their team for the next 9 months.

Your new role
You will take over the running of a team of 8 that is responsible for general ledger accounting and accounts payable for the EMEA region, with team members ranging from accounts assistants through to qualified accountants. You will be tasked with working to a tight month end close, reviewing entries in the general ledger, approving high value journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing SOX controls and being the subject matter expert in all areas of general accounting.

What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking a qualified accountant with a proven track record of managing and leading teams, strong general accounting knowledge, good understanding of US GAAP and experience of using SAP.
