I am working with a growing PE backed business based in Leeds City Centre in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The successful candidate will be offered a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential for an extension or permanent offer to follow thereafter. Candidates must be immediately available for this role or on a maximum notice period of one week. The Role: The crux of this role will be to maintain the Purchase Ledger, meeting deadlines and ensuring that invoices are processed efficiently and accurately. This includes: Processing invoices Ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms Making payments via BACS and cheque Reconciling supplier statements Setting up accounts Resolving queries The ideal candidate will have existing experience of the full purchase ledger process, and be confident in liaising with clients as well as internal stakeholders.
