Morgan Hunt are currently assisting a Greater Manchester based College with the recruitment of a permanent Finance Business Partner. The primary focus of this role will be to provide business partnering services to Budget Holders across the College. This role will report to the Head of Finance and will include but by no means be limited to: - Preparation of the monthly management accounts for salary and agency budget and liaising with the Senior management team in regards to budgets - Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounting reports including Governor packs in accordance with the monthly timetable - Posting of accruals and prepayments - Assisting in the production of Year End Statutory Accounts - Responsible for budget monitoring, setting and 3 year forecasting - Monthly reconciliations where applicable - Providing financial advice to Budget Managers. - Liaising with internal and external queries The ideal candidate for this role will be a CCAB qualified Management Accountant with significant post qualified experience. Experience in further education is desirable although public sector or not for profit experience would also be considered.
