Auditor/ Audit senior for Accountancy Practice £30,000 - £40,000 ( negotiable) plus mileage allowance and benefits 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday/ as required Northamptonshire Accountancy firm based in Northamptonshire based are recruiting for an Auditor./ Audit Senior with previous Accountancy Practice background. The role of Audit Senior is to plan and execute audits, working closely with the partners to ensure that audits are completed in the required time frame. The role will also involve accounts preparation for all type of companies, sole traders and partnerships. Duties include : Preparation of Corporation tax computations Reporting in to Partner level, the Audit Senior will conduct company audits from planning through to completion support by the partner. Planning the audit process, completing audit field work and completion of files including providing recommendations to enhance client's policies and procedures. The main objective is to develop the Audit team and in the future the Audit Senior will be responsible for a small audit team and will supervise, motivate and develop the team of junior audit staff. The successful applicant will be required to review the work of junior personnel, as well as developing their skills and providing training and support. Key

Schedule, plan and complete audits Report findings and discuss with partners audit issues and attend client sign off meetings Liaise with client FDs or company directors Lead, manage and develop the team of junior auditors Assist with other audit matters and projects, such as grant claims and solicitors rules The Ideal Candidate will : Experienced and qualified (ACA / ACCA) Strong Knowledge and experience of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards (UK and Ireland) Provide technical support to other staff. Strong IT Skills Excel, IRIS Able travel and work away at times ( mileage paid) Graduates/ Newly Qualified candidates with working knowledge of Auditing may be also considered.
