CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER (S151) Salary Up to £60,226 per annum /pro rata for Part Time Plus An Allowance for S151 Officer Duties Craven District Council is based in Skipton in North Yorkshire and continues to receive accolades for its services and beautiful environment. With excellent road and rail links to both Leeds and Bradford, Skipton is easily accessible. The Chief Finance Officer will develop the Council's financial strategy and act as adviser to officers and elected members on financial matters, implementing high quality customer-focused services that adopt recognised best practice, whilst managing the Financial Services and Revenues and Benefits teams. We are looking for exceptional candidates who have the ability to think and act strategically at all levels and be creative and seek innovative solutions to problems. Experience of effectively managing resources, delivering sustainable high quality services and large scale projects on time and on budget is essential. The successful candidate will work as part of the Corporate Leadership Team and assist the Chief Executive in dealing with Members, Officers and Partners Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part time therefore, we would be interested to receive applications from candidates that wish to work on a part time basis.
