Harrogate Commutable Locations: Leeds, Knaresborough, Wetherby, Otley, Ripon Role Profile: Purchase Ledger Assistant - Fixed Term Contract, 10 months You will be Responsible for: Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be supporting their busy Finance department by providing timely and accurate management of purchase ledger accounts Accounting data entry Checking of non-stock requisitions, raising of purchase orders on resolving queries Lodging, coding and checking of invoices Processing payment runs to suppliers Supplier statement reconciliation Making accurate credit card & petty cash payments Other ad hoc duties as and when required Personal Requirements: Previous purchase ledger experience Experience with Sage 200 is advantageous Proficient IT skills, specifically Excel Excellent organisation skills, effective communicator and brilliant customer service A team player with the ability to use their initiative and effectively manage their workload Prospect: My client has an active policy of promotion from within, career progression is very probable for the right candidate and they firmly believe in the continual development of their people.
