Part Time Accountant - Regional Firm of Accountants The Role Barber McLelland are working in partnership with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an experienced Part Time Accountant from within the accountancy profession for 3 days/week. The business are a modern and highly innovative firm of accountants. They boast excellent training support along with an exceptional staff retention record. Duties and Responsibilities Supporting the Divisional Director, the role will become part of team providing accounting and advisory services to a specialist client base, this will include: Preparation of Annual Accounts using Sage Line 50 Preparation of tax computations Supporting clients on accounting and bookkeeping queries Preparation of Corporate Tax computations Skills and Qualities Minimum 3 years experience working for a firm of accountants Either part or qualified ACA or ACCA, however the firm would also encourage applications from individuals who have decided not to take the formal qualification route but have developed experience working within a firm of accountants Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 Experience of accounts production from incomplete records, experience of Partnership accounts would be advantageous Salary and Benefits Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 FTE depending on experience Flexible Working Hours - Start and finish time to suit individuals needs 25 Days Holiday plus statutory Option to work some days from home On-site parking Barber McLelland are a dedicated and niche recruitment consultancy service for the Accountancy Profession.
