Key Responsibilities Pricing and executing Client trades on multiple commodity products Assisting Senior Traders with Risk Management across the Energy, Metals, Agricultural and Bulk Commodities trading books Liaising with other book runners on risk flow and risk management requirements on a daily basis Interacting constructively with the Sales Team to drive client focused strategy Generating ideas and business practices to improve the efficiency of trading books Ensuring that all transactions fall within the Market Risk and Regulatory frameworks of the business Experience and Skills A candidate with in-depth experience of one or more commodity derivative markets and the concepts of hedging using forwards and options A background in trading or significant front office exposure through Product Control/Market Risk or other middle office functions. A strong quantitative background, preferably with a 2:1 or higher degree in a mathematical based subject. Highly motivated, adaptable individual with strong initiative, interpersonal and problem solving skills. My client is a global Corporate and Investment Bank.
