We are looking for a Volunteering Compliance Manager to champion the needs of our volunteers, providing an expert voice amongst internal stakeholder teams, and owning all relevant policies and guidelines. You will ensure the processes the Charity use involving volunteers comply with our best practice guidelines and are within relevant legislation. Join our collective force and help us lead the way through your:Ability to handle complex and challenging situations involving volunteers, ensuring best practice is followed.Understanding of safeguarding and its importance in the charity sector.Understanding and experience of handling the breadth of HR, legal and risk challenges posed by working with volunteersAbility to engage and win people over; conveying complex ideas succinctly and persuasively Ability to act as a compliance expert, providing advice & guidance to ensure that we are legally compliant with national legislative standards Here at Cancer Research UK, we aim to save more lives by preventing, controlling and curing cancer sooner.
